Two new technology classes have been added to the CTM coverage: 15-minute NOx emissions technology, which covers an understanding of NOx, measurement and control, and methods of treatment and 20-minute automotive electrics, covering the function, components and operation of charging systems and starter motor systems. The component test meter now features over 350,000 total tests covering 27 makes, with the addition of Toyota coverage including ABS menus and control module information, along with speed sensor and brake pedal component information. The latest update sees over 2,400 vehicles added to the software, along with more than 40,000 new systems, almost 13,000 new codes and nearly 1,800 new functional tests – putting more knowledge and ability to deal with different problems at the hands of technicians than ever before. When i asked about updating it to version 8.4 i was told it would cost 400.Once the USB cable is connected, select Continue on the SOLUS Ultra unit. If i miss a update then it will cost me 800 to update no matter how many updates i miss, i.e.
